The new low wind series features a vintage built coil spec 'd to the 1965 standards. These pickups are wound with plain enamel wire.
With a slightly low wound coil these are smooth and clear. Instead of a staggered pole setup these are set flat. The tonal response in these is phenomenal. Played clean it will give you all the clear bell like tones with plenty of quack. Turned up, it only gets better since they retain all of the tone these pickups were made famous for.
