"I recently purchased the Roadhouse Special as the neck pickup for my 98 Strat. First of all, I received a great product and great service as well. I've tried several different pickups including the stock American Standard, Texas Specials, and Lace Sensors-but the Roadhouse has been my favorite so far. It provides a warm tone throughout with nice crisp highs-similar to the Texas Specials in that regard but without the harsh mids. This pickup is hotter than stock though so I would recommend adjusting the pickup height to get the right breakup with your amp settings. I'm thinking of putting these pickups in the middle and bridge positions as well-"
